B&Q planned to roll-out a new store format. But alongside this wanted to equip Store Management teams with the tools and the skills to create 'leaders without title'. Tools to facilitate great conversations....so these became the new way of working. Less 'push' and more 'pull'. Resulting in greater ownership, stronger accountability and trust-based relationships.
So far, the management teams of the pilot Stores have experienced a 5-day workshop. Quality time to define the culture, ways of working and practices that will drive a brilliant customer experience. Along with personal feedback and team development to strengthen their sense of identity and purpose.
