HR is often expected to take the lead in helping Organisations, leaders and individuals grow their focus on talent.
What is often forgotten within HR is to focus on applying the same rigour to developing the talent in our own profession.
The Co-operative team wanted to deliberately change the belief that HR didn't warrant that attention and out of this concept the "Games Changers" programme was born.
Game Changers elevate others....regardless of rank, position or status. They have the confidence and the capabilities to facilitate in-the-moment conversations or learning workshops......that get results. The rationale is simple. Just think of the amount of time and energy that is saved when small problems are prevented – so they never become raging fires. Or the feeling that is evoked when an opportunity is seized, a team galvanised and the seemingly impossible is achieved! We built the HR communities 'confidence and capability' through Acting Strategically workshops. This was followed-up with Game Changers - leading our strategic work - streams for those HR professionals who demonstrated game changing mindsets and who wanted to become so much more....
